In the first months of the year, Donostia San Sebastián Turismoa (DSST) has participated in important trade fairs and industry events, promoting the city's tourism, gastronomy, and cultural offerings.

Participation in FITUR 2025

From January 22 to 26, DSST attended FITUR, Spain’s most important leisure tourism fair, held in Madrid. More than 1,000 visitors approached the Donostia / San Sebastián counter at the Euskadi stand, showing great interest in the city's diverse tourism offerings. Gastronomy and cultural richness were among the most appreciated aspects by attendees, reaffirming the destination's appeal to both national and international travelers.

Donostia at ITB Berlin

Once again, DSST participated in ITB Berlin, one of Europe's most relevant professional tourism fairs. During this event, representatives from Donostia / San Sebastián held meetings with European travel agencies and tour operators interested in expanding their knowledge of the destination and establishing new partnerships with local providers. ITB represents a great opportunity to strengthen Donostia’s presence in the European market and attract travelers seeking authentic and high-quality experiences.

Familiarization Trip with Kirker Holidays

On March 28, DSST will support the inspection visit of the British tour operator Kirker Holidays, which specializes in tailor-made premium cultural trips. In collaboration with the Spanish Tourism Office in London, this fam trip will allow Kirker Holidays representatives to experience firsthand the Basque capitals and the La Rioja Alavesa wine region during a four-day intensive agenda. This initiative aims to reinforce Donostia's positioning as an exclusive destination for travelers seeking high-quality, personalized experiences.
