Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa wins the Diario Vasco award for the best digital communication strategy

Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa receives the award for the best online communication strategy in the public bodies category, for its “2018 Communication Plan to Meet the Challenges of the Visit-Bizi Donostia/San Sebastian Master Plan” 


This was awarded by the jury for integrating digital communication tools and formats into the communication strategy and it was impressed by the planning and implementation of the objectives. Donostia San Sebastian Turismoa detailed the digital communication action plan implemented in order to drive the key strategies of the Master Plan: reducing seasonality, internationalisation, reduced concentration and the authenticity and sustainability of the destination.

Additionally, it’s worth highlighting the following quote from Fabrizio Orlando, the manager of TripAdvisor Europe, regarding the city’s online strategy: “San Sebastian is doing a fine job of managing its online reputation and, therefore, its reach".
